National Yacht Club Brunch Armada marks the end of the summer season

We had a bright and breezy day for the last armada of 2024 to the National Yacht Club for brunch. Those who went by boat reported a somewhat lumpy crossing of Dublin Bay - those who travelled by DART had a smoother ride. As always, a good crowd turned out for what was our last armada of the season.

Gerry O'Neill had arranged for the brunch to be held in the chandeliered dining room of the NYC. A hearty breakfast was served by helpful staff. Afterwards, Gerry thanked all involved and introduced his latest crewmember - Olena from Ukraine, who has been sailing with Gerry this season. It was also good to see some long-time members of the Cruising Group (Joe Nolan, Pat Murphy) who have been less involved this year for health reasons.
