Cruising Group September Update

The HYC Cruising Group have had a fantastic summer, enjoying great opportunities to get out on the water around Ireland and across the world.
A special event curated by Gerry O'Neill and Aideen Sargent this summer was our armada out to Skerries Sailing Club. A huge thank you to our Commodore Kevin Monks, Rear Commodore Andrew Collins (NYC), Tim Kelly (CAI) and especially to Commodore Colm Collins (SBSC) and his amazing team for a very special welcome to all sailors on the day. A huge amount of participation with over 40 boats from HYC, NYC and CAI sailing across Dublin Bay to muster with Skerries Commodore Colm and his amazing team. The Salty Buoy food truck was on site with nearly 200 sailors gathering in the lovely sunshine and the beautiful location of the club to drink, dine and celebrate together. Thanks to all participants for making this a special day and one to remember.
